Must-haves

When choosing between potty training seats and toilet seat reducers, the route you choose is up to you. With the potty seats you still need to transition to the regular toilet later on. However, with the seat reducers you need a stepping stool and there is a risk of falling. I also recommend to use the method that daycare or PK is using for less confusion.

(My kiddo likes this one the most) OXO Tot Potty Chair

BabyBjörn Smart Potty

Potty training seats with handles

Potty training mini toilets

Potty training toilet seat reducers

For these you need a step stool, see section below. I don’t necessary recommend these as the kiddo can fall easily. But it can remove the transition to the actual toilet that you eventual have to do with the potty seats or the mini toilets. Choose your own adventure!

Step stool

You need these for the toilet seat reducers. I recommend getting one with handles.
